CRESCENT ROLL WITH BRIE, PECANS, AND CHOCOLATE

Bring an exciting new dish to your next gathering that will have everybody talking!  Make this easy appetizer that will have your friends and family asking you for the recipe.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 package/tube of crescent rolls
  • 1-8-ounce round of brie cheese (with or without rind)
  • ½ cup chopped pecans
  • 1 ounce of SoChatti chocolate

Instructions

Step 1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Place parchment or a non-slip baking mat on a baking pan.

Step 2. Unroll the crescent rolls and place them on the baking pan to make as much of a square as possible, pinching the edges together to seal them.

Step 3. Once you have one large piece of crescent dough place the brie in the center. Then spread the SoChatti onto the brie evenly.  Sprinkle with the pecans.

Step 4. Take the corners of the crescent roll square and bring them to the center pinching them until sealed and no gaps showing (This will prevent leaking during baking)

Step 5. Carefully turn over your crescent roll parcel, so that the seams from the last step are on the bottom.

Step 6. Bake the parcel for longer than recommended on the crescent roll instructions. (Times will vary depending on the brand of dough and thickness)

Step 7. Serve warm with your favorite crackers, bread, or more crescent rolls.

Hint- If the crescent roll is browning too quickly cover lightly with foil to prevent burning.
