Whipped Cream


Here is a quick, easy recipe for whipped cream that is an excellent addition to any SoChatti dessert. 


  • 1-pint heavy whipping cream

  • ¼ cup powdered sugar

  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract


Step 1. Place all three ingredients in a mixing bowl or a stand mixer.

Step 2. If using a mixing bowl whip, the ingredients using a hand mixer, if using a stand mixer use your whisk attachment.

Step 3. Whisk the ingredients together until when you lift the mixture up, you have semi-firm or medium peaks. 


            -if too runny and the whipped cream does not hold its shape, continue whisking

            -if too stiff and starts to change the color you have started to make butter

Step 4. Keep refrigerated until ready to use.
