SOCHATTI CHOCOLATE BROWNIES

Make your brownies from scratch!  Take your everyday brownie up a notch by using your favorite SoChatti batch.  You will be amazed at the delightful flavors and great results you will get by using SoChatti.


INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter (plus more for prepping pan)

  • 8 ounces SoChatti chocolate

  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour

  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt

  • 1½ cups sugar

  • 4 eggs

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

Step 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease an 8-inch-square pan. Line the pan with parchment paper (bottom and sides), leaving a 2-inch overhang on the sides.

Step 2. In a saucepan over low heat or in a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter. Stir the SoChatti into the butter and let cool to room temperature (5-10 minutes).

Step 3. Combine the flour and salt in a small bowl, and set aside. 

Step 4. Once the SoChatti and butter mixture has cooled, stir in the sugar until well combined. Add the eggs 1 at a time, whisking until smooth after each egg. Add the vanilla to the SoChatti mixture in the saucepan/bowl, and then stir until well incorporated. 

Step 5. Add the flour mixture to the SoChatti mixture and stir gently to combine. Pour into the prepared pan and spread evenly.

Step 6. Bake the brownies until they are set (35-45 minutes). Cool the brownies completely before cutting and serving.
