Simple Dark Chocolate Mousse with Raspberries

Try this simple dark chocolate mousse with raspberries for your next date night or to impress your friends!


INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups of heavy whipping cream (room temperature)

  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

  • 4 ounces SoChatti chocolate

  • fresh raspberries and powdered sugar for garnish (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1. In the bowl of a stand mixer with a whisk attachment or a large bowl with a hand mixer place the room temperature heavy whipping cream, vanilla extract, and SoChatti chocolate.

Step 2. Whisk all three ingredients until smooth and creamy, the mixture will turn light and bubbly.

Step 3. Pour or scoop your mousse into individual ramekins. The mousse will seem runny but will firm up in the refrigerator. Chill for 1 to 2 hours before serving.

Step 4. Garnish with raspberries or your favorite berries and dust with powdered sugar. This recipe can be made up to two day ahead, just store covered in the refrigerator.
