    KOKOA KAMILI COOPERATIVE
Our Tanzanian cocoa beans come from Kokoa Kamili Cooperative, situated in the Udzungwa Mountains National Park. Kokoa Kamili works with nearly 3,000 small-holder farmers, most of which farm .5-2 acres of cocoa. In addition to saving farmers time and money by centralizing the fermenting process, Kokoa Kamili pays farmers a premium for their “wet” cocoa, which is well above the market rate. These efforts not only improve the overall consistency and quality of the beans, but also offer a more sustainable and lucrative option for the area.
