An idea borrowed from one of our favorite Fall treats; the caramel apple. Dip your favorite pear, apple or fruit into SoChatti chocolate and follow up with crushed peanuts cashew or almonds to give this dessert even more depth and texture.
- 3 to 4 of your favorite ripe pears
- 3 to 4 ounces of SoChatti
- Chopped nuts such as walnuts, pecans, or almonds (optional)
Step 1. To make your chocolate dipped pears, prepare a cookie sheet with a piece of wax paper or parchment to place your dipped pears on.
Step 2. Place the 3 to 4 ounces of SoChatti into a small bowl or dish that would be good for dipping your pears.
Step 3. If using the chopped nuts place them into a similarly sized bowl as the SoChatti.
Step 4.Take each pear, dip into the SoChatti until desired height, then pull the pear out and let the excess SoChatti drip off. If using the chopped nuts place, the SoChatti dipped pear into the nuts. Then place onto the cookie sheet.
Step 5: Place in the refrigerator for 10 minutes to set the SoChatti chocolate and enjoy.
